Guy Weinberg, MD

Guy is a professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He has practiced anesthesiology for approximately 20 years but before that spent some time as an internist, a medical geneticist and now devotes half his time to basic science and the remaining effort to resident education and supervision. His main scientific interests are in the mitochondrial effects of local anesthetics, metabolic modulation for organ preservation and treatment of local anesthetic toxicity.
John Picard, MD

John was born at Charing Cross Hospital in London, and returned there as a Consultant Anaesthetist. Between times he completed a couple of degrees in mathematical economics and worked in the Treasury (UK Ministry of Finance), before studying Medicine at Oxford. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College of Science and Medicine. He daily satisfies his passions for neuro- and regional anaesthesia.
Tim Meek, MD

Tim is a consultant anaesthetist at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, England. He studied medicine at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, graduating in 1992. His clinical interests are obstetric anaesthesia and education. He has Honorary Lecturer posts at the Universities of Durham and Teesside.
