SMOFlipid® is a unique blend of four oils (SO/ MCT/ OO/ FO) and provides a balanced profile of polyunsaturated (PUFA), monounsaturated (MUFA), and saturated fatty acids (SA) as well as omega 3 fatty acids (from the FO component). Our hospital is currently planning to stock this and may replace the soy based Intralipid Emulsion. Does it work as well as Intraplid?
