I still confuse with the recommended dose of epinephrine using in LAST. If the recommended dose is < 1mcg/kg, the usual dose of epinephrine for average weight of 70 kg is aprox 70 mcg. Remember that one ampule of Epinephrine (normally) is 1mg/1ml ( 1000 mcg). How can we dilute and canculate the dose in this critical situation. In case of real cardiac arrest, is this very very small dose of epinephrine suffice to keep the heart working?
