Our facility is currently initiating Lipid-Rescue and we are attempting to set up quick-reference dosing charts. While reviewing the dosages recommended at this site, we found confusion with the "maximum total dose of 8 mL/kg". Is there a black-and-white maximum dose per kg that should not be exceeded for the duration of lipid-rescue? If it is 8 mL/kg, then most patients would quickly exceed this limit. Any help would be appreciated!
