A nine-year old Doberman weighing 45 Kg was admitted with mydriatic pupils, hypersalivation, and inability to stand after owner administered an equine formulation of ivermectin. The administered amount is unknown. 100 ml of Liposyn II (20%) was administered intravenously over 30 minutes. Patient had improved and could stand 4 hours later. Patient ate the following day and went home 48 hours following admission. 3 doses of activated charcoal were administered as well.

Hi,

Just to note that there is a case report out of lipid emulsion being used to treat ivermectin overdose in a Shetland Miniature pony.
